Job Description:

Role Overview:

As a SEND Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering personalised teaching and learning to pupils with a range of special educational needs including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Social, Emotional and Mental Health SEMH) needs, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop positive, supportive relationship with pupils and staff
  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
  • Work closely with support staff and external professionals
  • Monitor and assess progress, writing IEPs/EHCP reports as required
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Promote emotional regulation and social development through appropriate strategies

Requirements:

  • UK teaching experience (preferred)
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the updated service (or willing to apply through us)
  • Reliable, flexible and professional
